These birds visited a lot in the spring. The female is a lighter muddled brown and the male is nearly black with a brown head. On the few visits the female made, she just sat quietly and ate. The male, however, visited every day for several weeks and spent hours performing his mating dance for his reflection in the window. It was a great source of entertainment, and I got some very funny pictures. I even snagged a little video. | |||
